UuuGGGHHHH!! Why did this get 3-stars? I always look to yelp for suggestions and had I read these reviews I wouldn't have come here. But we took a whale watching tour and the people on board were raving about this place so we decided to try it. (Great choice on our part) so many reviews were weird :/ Ok.. BEER obviously 5-stars. BUT N/A options STELLAR! They make their own kombucha which I had the strawberry and it was fantastic. The people @ the table next to us (we became quick friends) --their kids (17,19) had the Maui brewing Company root beer and ginger beer and said "best ever" so we were very surprised --being that this is rated only three stars from a lot of people --how excellent the food was. (in our party we had the steak nachos, cheeseburger, open face, pork sandwich, fish of the day and Caesar wrap.. yum. ) We sat outside and there was live entertainment with a beautiful sunset. Look at our pictures we really enjoyed our food. Friendly service added a great touch.

Updating my review. Went back the following night, was seated quickly, our server was attentive and the fish tacos were once again delicious!

We had such a good time at Maui Brewing Co! I was with a large group of 12 for work, and we made reservations ahead of time so they were able to accommodate us. We were sat indoors, but had a beautiful view of the sunset on the beach. It was happy hour, so we got a few drinks and loved them all. The Mai tai with the foam on top was perfect. As for food, there was enough variety of things for us all to find something we liked. Loved loved the veggie burger, the patty had some macadamia nuts in there that took it to the next level.

Had a great experience overall here. Came in a little before closing and sat down at the bar. Really enjoyed the beers that they had. We got a flight which comes with four 4 oz beers that we got to choose which ones we wanted. Bartender accidentally pour an extra so they gave it to us on the house, so nice. In terms of the food, it was good, pricey but good. Black Garlic Truffle Fries - Crispy and garlic aioli sauce was to die for. Portion is quiet but so it's easily sharable. (4/5) Bbq Kalua Pork Slider - I actually really enjoyed this. Came with 3 sliders and all very flavorful. Delicious. (4.5/5) Overall it's good. I think my experience was elevated because the bartender was so nice and friendly so props to her. Good spot if you need a quick late night bite. They have happy hour and shows if you come earlier.

Maybe a 3.5 rounded up? Stopped by Maui Brewing for happy hour with some friends on a Monday afternoon. This location is inside the hotel resort so you'll park at the hotels garage. You can get it validated at the valet when you dine at Maui Brewing. Happy hour is from 3:30 PM - 5:30 PM for dine-in only. The happy hour menu features some small bites/shareables for $7-13 and $2 off beers and $3 off house wines or cocktails. The brews were okay. Maybe I just didn't have one I really enjoyed. The food was better. + calamari fries ($13): it was like fish sticks...but calamari. I liked it! I do feel like most of the flavor came from the unagi sauce and gochujang mayo on top. + big swell chicken bites ($10): basically popcorn chicken. It tasted fine, but the portion size was pretty small. + Buffalo chicken dip ($10): wish they gave more chips than veggies. Ambiance was beautiful as it looks out onto the ocean. Happy hour was especially nice because the sun started to set at the end. They also had live music going by the time we left. Service was fine. A little slow, but we were enjoying each other's company. All in all, an okay stop but I wouldn't rank it high on my list of "must visits" while in Maui. Maybe a different location!

5 stars all the way! Staying at the outrigger resort and Maui Brewing was one of the featured restaurants on the premises. Steak nachos - I'm going to have dreams and mad cravings about these bad boys! Not spicy at all, by the way. The steak was just so flavorful and tender even when it was cooked well done. Jalapeño burger - so simple yet it melted in my mouth! Goes well with their truffle fries which are so packed with umami, probably one of the best truffle fries I've ever come across. POG Sour Beer - my husband said it's the perfect tangy and refreshing choice on a warm night. Shoutout to my very friendly server (forgot to ask her name) but she was insightful on beverages, offered friendly service, and a huge shoutout to the food runner, an older woman who puts in work!!! Ambiance is very beach/bar vibe and I appreciate the live singer. Entertainment and a good meal? I definitely have to fly back to Maui and come back here all the time!
